Tattoo discrimination

How many of you have a story of discrimination at home, on the streets, or in the workplace because you have tattoos? i'm looking for a few good stories to add to my paper for a college english class. Your stories will only be viewed by me and my professor. and i'll post my final paper here as well. i'm just looking for some first hand stories to back up my arguement. it's one thing to say "people often get dascriminated against for their tattoos". i would love any input thanks!

my dad punched me in the taint when he saw my tattoo of his girl friends name on my ass he was pissed, i just thought it was a quirky gesture drats im gonna go listen to the cranberries and cry

ENGLISH - TIBETAN TRANSLATION

8 years of experience in Freelance Tibetan Translation (English - Tibetan or vice versa)

Source language = ENGLISH
Target Language = TIBETAN (My native language)

1) Translation rate for tattoo and tiny projects/words are as below:

1- 3 words = US $ 6.00
4- 6 words = US $ 12.00
7- 10 words = US $ 15.00
11 - 20 words = US $ 20.00
20 - 50 words = US $ 30.00

Every single source word or a phrase will be charged separately within the above given range.
For instance: If you want the translation for 2 different words such as for
1) God (1-3) = US $ 6.00
2) Divine mercy (1-3) = US $ 6.00

In the above case, the total cost will be US $ 12.00

If you want the translation for a sentence with in the range of 1-3 words such as
1) God is great (1-3 words)

It will cost you only US $ 6.00

2) Translation rate for legal documents/Official documents:
( It could be notice, forms, circulation, survey document etc. - nature of document will be judged and decided by the linguist.)

50 - 100 words = US $ 60.00

Rate of every additional word exceeding 100 words will be charged $0.50 per word.
For instance, if you have 150 words project. It will cost you $ 85.

3) Translation rate for general documents:
( It could be informal letter, autobiography, general books and unofficial documents etc - nature of document will be judged and decided by the linguist.)

50 - 100 words = US $ 45.00
Rate of every additional word exceeding 100 words will be charged $0.40 per word.
For instance, if you have 150 words project. It will cost you $ 65.

Payment Condition:
Payment through paypal from foreign countries or HDFC Bank in India will be preferred. But the transfer charges if any will have to be borne by the clients or Paypal payment should be made under gift category only.

Dude who keeps putting tibetan translation advertisements in non related forums. STOP IT YOU DB! At any rate I know this forum is probably dead but..... My story is short. Really good example of discrimination though. My wife son, daughter and I went to the store a while back. (my wife is not as visibly tattooed and peirced as I am) I decided to do the gentlemanly thing to do at the entrance was to hold the door open for the guests coming in right behind me. I actually had an older lady, not really old but older maybe late 50s, look at me. Sneer, and then go find another door to enter through, I might mention on the oposite side of the 6 door entrance. I was soooooo insluted, I mean I understand job discrimination. But actually treating me like I was going to mug her or rape her or some other stuff, because I am tattooed and peirced...... I said your welcom loud enough to make sure she and everyone that witnessed it to hear me, and went about my business. I guess I should expect that living in mormon ville salt lake city...
