I was thinkin earlier that if I keep goin with ink I may end up totally covered. Would that be a bad thing, I thought! Maybe, but I don't want to end up with a whole body piece. Stop you may say, easier said then done right. Tell me your views....

too much for me is hands and facial, or any amount of shitty one point sticker jobs!!!.

other than that a well thought out and executed Japanese body suit (any type. dos net have to be a full suit) is just the right amount of ink for me hehe.

I also agree with teh more you get the more you jsutify.

I remember I jsut wanted one on each arm and on my back,

Now its minimum of a full leg or arm sleeve, back ribs etc at a time. No small stuff
Prob get most of a suit done in the next 10 years right before my 40th b-day!!

I'm not saying I'm going to stop or that I'm questioning it. I just find it strange how you lose count of the many trips you take to that tat palour and there's that one day you stop and look in the mirror and think shit, where did all that come from.....

Just as I get tired of the question of how many or how many hours? Who knows the answer or really cares. What counts is how you feel.

I always thought if you're going to get full cover, leave some empty space for the visual break, like the Japanese munewari or "empty river" down the torso. That means you can go nuts everywhere else woohoo!! For women, the breasts are usually a stop point aren't they? I've seen work around but not much work over? You may be in the wrong place to ask the "too much" question. I seriously considered putting on more weight so there's more skin to get done :)

Thats what im doing the Japanese munewari and your right about the weight thing im 19 and i only wheigh 115 and for some reason i cant gain a pound even though I eat all day.

Yes, breasts seem to be a stopping point for many women. Maybe it is the inevitable sagging that is a factor in that decision. For me, I wanted them covered with the rest of my torso, as part of the design. I don't care about the sagging issue. That's part of life, and anyway, I think my tattoos will draw attention away from the sagging. Also, I think when you have a fully covered torso, uninked breasts look strange, like headlights.

People say for my age i have too much which includes my whole back and both thighs and starting on the buttocks in a couple months but i dont think i have too much. I consider the face and head to be to much the neck is cool spot but thats my limit.

Yeah the scene-y toile reminds me a bit of my nonna's bedspread or something haha Will definitely chat with my artist about some shadows and see what she can come up with :) The pain isn't something I'm relishing, but it'll just be three hours out…
