Thanks! Your guy's a handsome devil I must say, very photogenic. My knuckleheads are Amazons... Yellow Napes. I love the red also, they actually have a lovely tinge of blue as well.

Oh wow, they're beautiful! Are they Amazons? Love the flash of red feathers underneath the tail, Monty has hidden red feathers under her wings as well....

It's sad to see your dogs get old. My buddy is getting up there. Not sure his exact age (rescued from the pound), but I would guess anywhere from 10-12 years old. His hips are getting bad. I got him a friend 2 years ago - another rescue dog - and that really helped (except she has the bad habit of drinking water to fast and puking all over the place!)

He has more energy and plays with her often. Still, I wake him up if he's sleeping for a long time without moving - just to make sure he's still around.

You can see a pic of him on page two here. It will truly be a sad day when he goes. I'm sorry to hear about yours...
