thank you! you to , happy new years! (somewhat belated but still all very meant! :P) Korea's most certainly still on my to do list , now more so as Iv said before that friend of mine is going so it should be a good place to be (judging by his holiday pictures, im always envious of where he's been haha.) I ended up going to 3 places but ultimately I lost interest and my headache combined with an influx of overly drunk people, the whole thing was starting to irritate me. (plus having some little bastard throwing firework at my legs wasnt doing my mood much good) so all in all , it was an ok NYE but theres a reason I tend not to celebrate it haha.

Wow, engineering degree as well ,thats quite impressive ;). any specific branch of engineering that you're interested in?

as for the compliment, no need to thank me ;) although (forgive me for being forward) I wouldnt say you need to lose any weight, you look great as you were and are now.

It has been a long time. Glad to hear you passed your exams, have you decided on where you'll be working yet? In Korea again? im somewhat jealous, I'm in NL for now still , probably only going to be leaving the country again if I get my summer internship or leaving with a friend to his home country. No I dont really have anything planned for NYE, been invited to a few parties, not sure which I'll attend or whether I'll attend any of them actually.

Nah I havent gotten any new tattoo work done yet, although as you can read or probably initiated the question, I'v been having that tattoo itch haha.

Somewhere discreet? sounds like 1 of those interesting surprises. you look good in the new pictures btw.

hey ! good to hear you're doing well , i'm doing good, finally got paid by these asshats that im working for on tuesday nights so my day has been made again haha (I know, how materialistic...ah well...) sounds like you've been really busy, all worth doing I hope, getting back in shape? always a good idea, something i'v been omitting unfortunately the last 2 weeks , been too busy for it. haha somehow I'v been placed into a law class , unfortunately for me its not the kind of law im interested in (human rights etc) should be getting interesting soon though , going more into corporate law.

hey andrea. so happy to hear from ya. i remember what it's like to wait for bar results. ugh. i feel your pain sista.

i work at very conservative international law firms, one i've been consulting for for five years, and i just cover up and refuse to talk tattoos at work. they've found out just how "covered" i am, but by the time they did, i made them enough money not for them to care. ;)

look forward to chatting more.

Very nice idea, and how it changed meanings for you after you made it through. I'm planning on going to vet school and it's just like a cloud of impossibility right now. Even the idea of getting accepted seems so unattainable to me and just thinking about it makes me uptight. But also the idea of being in school for 4 more years, working as hard as I've ever worked... Hopefully I can be like you and look back on the 4 years and be glad that I did it, even though it seemed more than I could handle at times.

I just got the color put into mine today. I've been thinking about doing something on my right hip that will run down to my knee, to flow in with what I have. More plants/flowers (maybe Wisteria? or something that drips down like that) and definitely birds. It seems tricky, the desire to excel in your profession without having your artwork "hold you back" for whatever reason. I'm thinking about going into the Army Veterinary Corps, and so there's definite restrictions on what I can have done because of that. But hey, it's not over 'till it's over...

sounds interesting, im sure it suits you right and I think iv gotten a pretty good idea of what its going to look like ;), ribs...hmm it might hurt more than the other places, depends on how high your pain threshhold is then again im sure you already know this ;). Im almost done with my research for my suit , finding a bigger picture of the main theme is proving difficult though :/ but im sure my artist can work with what iv got.

aha...so you're really someone who I need to keep in my network then? ;).

I'v never been to Ethiopia but the guards sounds familiar even in SA at times, heard that there are armed guards that escort you from Jan Smuts (the main airport) there. It's still a question whether its going to happen or not but if SA does host the worldcup...personally im thinking its going to break the country, doesnt matter what they do, last time i was there earlier this year, its a farce. I spent the majority of my life there.

Thanks. That white idea sounds really pretty. Where did you get the idea for the heart snake?

Got to be careful (at least in the US). Many Fortune 500 employers have added both a strip search and a cavity search to the last segment of the hiring process. A tattoo could spell the end to your future career.
