But he does have a german apprentice in Europe just check out "Holy Fox tattoos". There are other great irezumi masters in Japan if you want it done there. Just remember it takes commitment including many expensive trips back for a backpiece!
Horiyoshi also has his apprentice Horitomo now in the US. He is amazing too. Good luck
