You'd never guess my ink if you knew me professionally. Sure you might suspect I'd have at least one little tatt, but nothing close to the truth.
That is spectacular work, and challenging, too. (That poor octopus...) The asymmetry of it is particularly compelling, and the fading spiral above is a well considered counterpoint to an obviously engrossing image. I'm enjoying their greater flickr page, too. Cheers, guy.
I just saw your comment on my picture. I actually already filled in the blossoms and the rest of the my back will be a black and red dragon. Though I know what you mean about loving the really stark outlines, I'm going to have a piece on my forearm done by an artist that usually works in color, but I think I'm going to ask him just to tattoo the outline really bold and just leave it like that.
sup dude! i checked out jason's work and really like his japanese work. I'm actually considering him to do my back piece since my artist has moved away. at least I got her to do my chest plates before she left! i know it all varies on design and complexcity, but how many hours did it take you to complete only your back (waist up)?
My FULL sleeve was originally intended to ONLY be a shoulder to elbow sleeve. My artist hand drew the whole thing. He told me that we'd have to cut out over half of the design because the whole thing just wouldn't fit where I wanted the design to ...
