my wife has zero tattoos, barely even wears earrings. it's difficult that we can't share in this(not that i want her to get covered), but the biggest issue is when i want new work, there's always a fight. Now in the end i will do what i want, but ...

Now I know what books your talking about. Ive always thought about getting one of those and yea I do find them for around that price range sometimes cheaper. I think the only reason why I havent bought one is becuase im trying to get all 5 of the Horiyoshi III books so far I got 4 so im right there.
thanks man! i live in oakland about 30 min away from san jose... taki and tomo were too much of a wait so i went with a another local guy... trust me i tried SOG haha
I agree with you. I know this is a "tattoo" site but I really am sketch about posting pictures of my work after seeing something like that. It's so aggrevating. Especially to see it ripped off so cheaply. It's like a slap in the face "I don't have any original ideas, and I don't have any money either..."
Yea I might be there too this year...I am in a book that is coming out in Oct. called Bloodwork:sleeves. Its from the guys who did the NSK full coverage a few years ago. They are expecting to release it during the convention. Mike is awesome.. I worked at his shop for a few weeks to help him out until he found an assistant. Grez is supposed to start a piece on me this month but I might have to trade out my time slot still incubating the idea. Have a great day!
I had considered flying down for the event from Sacramento--I've watched the evolution of the bodysuit on the right (think he was in Horiyuki's book while it was in progress).
