True Love is a 10-episode documentary on some of the most important American Tattooers.

This first series is the journey of three filmmakers from Italy, getting tattooed along the East Coast. It tries to focus on various aspects of tattooing, but most of all on the relationship tattooer-customer, from the point of view of the same customer.

The last piece I got from someone else was a young guy and it felt like he was mining for gold. Not only was he heavy handed but I scabbed up so bad some of the ink actually pulled off. Cin eventually had to repair it.
That was (I hope) the last impulse purchase I'll ever make.

At 1:33am on July 28, 2008, Dachi said…: I guess it's all individual. Different places hurt more on different people. I didn't have my kneecap done but had the area around my knee done. That was the last part of my lower leg sleeve to be completed. When I started work on my arm again it was like a walk in the park.
You've got a lot more coverage than I do at this point and I guess I'll discover new "trouble" spots as I go along.
