About 75% done now. I sat for a smidge under 8 hours. He had to redo some of the lining, but it looks great! I am very pleased at how it is turning out!!

- I love tattoos. No one at work can see them which is why I love all my tattoos. They are just for me. Plus they keep me grounded when I have to put on silly work clothes and suck up to the boss.
So....I stumbled upon this Inked Inc. when looking for advice on sitting through a back piece. I am getting mine started tomorrow!!!! I finally found a sweet artist and have wanted this for a LONG time. It will be 2 koi's and some water lillies with a bunch of blue, wavy water....very pretty.
I have a pretty big lower back tattoo so I think I'm aware of what I am getting myself into but I got that about 3 years ago so I can't quite remember the pain. I sat through 2 3-hour sessions and did fine. Plus he is using a neumatic machine which I have heard is a LOT easier on you.
I cannot wait! I am hoping to get it done in 3 sessions tops....but we will see how I do tomorrow!

- I find the buzzing to be almost hypnotic, kind of white noise. It's amazing that you got all that done in 5 1/2 hours. Good luck with the rest of the piece.

Some of us were discussing the pros and possible cons of pneumatic tattoo machines last week. I think for some the biggest perceived con is the lack of the "buzzing" noise we've all grown used to.
I would be grateful if you would let me know how the pneumatic machine "experience' compares to the standard machines.

Go to Shibuya. You have your choice of either Sunsqlit or Rin KG. I go to Rin KG. They are both about a mile from the train station.
