10 minute first rounds always made a great fight!
Now we're rolling on with MMA discussion! Kimbo Slice needs to first unlearn what he knows and then completely rebuild himself. Maybe he'll even lose a few pounds in the process. I can see him being a menace at 240-50. Of course the UFC is "groom...
That was a nice hook; but he should have finished it right there. Por Pramen snuck in a lot of short 'chute boxe' style kicks that Dida should have seen, but his heart is immeasureable. (Since he was a chute boxe fighter!) They did extend his cont...
Here's one of my instructors, Andre Dida fighting Por Pramen in K-1 Heros. This is only the first round, Dida lost by decision! Great fight! http://www.fansofk1.com/article?aID=2023&Category=3
Etim vs. Bucholz: great fight! Etim is a tough guy, he's lucky he didn't go down and eat canvass in the first round! Bucholz looks like he hits hard! That's the kind of trainer you need! Sounds like a good gym!

This little Portuguese bar opened next to me, and they show MMA on 7 screens all day! Kickboxing from Kazakhstan, tai kwan do from Finland! It's crazy, but I love it. The more small organizations I see, the more I pull away from the UFC as a fan. ...

As much as I like MMA both as a spector and competitor, I hate the training. My last fight I trained 6 hours every day and worked as a bartender for 3 months so I was constantly moving and on my feet. However these days I like to loaf around, and...

About Me:
I am an electronics engineer by trade, musician/writer, and kickboxer-MMA fighter, tattoo collector, freak of nature.

I have recently been hit in the head by a Canadian Pacific Railway engine. To say it hurts means little but to recover is all I have. Let's hope I can pull through this and that my brain tumor never comes back again. Thanks for that CPR!

Looking for like-minded individuals.

Describe your profession:
Build, repair, and modify professional HD cameras and accesories. Mad scientist....Worked in music studios, then post-production film studios, live sound, and now into "semi-retirement". Freakboy.

More Tattoo and Body Mods...

Apart from the work you can see in the pictures, I also have both sides of my chest and collerbone done. The left is a Japanese Oni Demon, in wind with swirling cherrie blossoms.

The right side of my chest is my second dragon that wraps over the shoulder (both sides Yakuza style) and ends on my back.

Giant black star on the top of my right foot-big mofo-this represents my MMA gym, without putting the name on me anywhere (Chute Boxe).

Black star middle wrist (left), black star offcenter (left), then two smaller ones on the side of my hand.

I have Piercings-several in each ear, and one called an "Ampallang" which is Philipino for "King of Kings". You should enter that into Google!

I'll get pics for these ones too.

IT's been almost six weeks since I was hit by a freight train. MY broken face is healing and so is my back; very slowly. Today I learned that I will never have hearing in my right ear again-I'm deaf on the right. That sucks but it has made me think that the frustration and rage I'm feeling should turn into some new ink.

I've decided to get a Red & Black Canadian Pacific Railway locomotive done on my back (and a bit lower too). It's going to be centered coming "out" of my back surrounded by… Continue

"man with tape recorder hit by train"

THere I was, gathering sound FX for a friends' movie. I recorded a train go by me on the tracks, then turned my back on it an hit "play" on my newly made Train tape. That's what disguised the sound of the other train comining in where the other had left. It hit me in the right ear and I just came from hospital yesterday.

Spent 6 days in the hospital; only 2 that I can remember because I only came to 2 days ago.

I came to inside a CT machine at the hospital undergoing a CAT scan, My hands were… Continue

The good, the bad, and the prideful

Shit. you'd think I'd be a lot happier with the news that I'm getting better; the cancer isn't as cancerous and my life is on the upswing. However it's not that simple for me.

All my plans for 18 months have revolved around me being dead. I have waited and waited and postponed applying for disability for this reason. Now that I'm getting better I'd rather work anyway, but up here (and everywhere else) there is a growing depression. No help wanted signs, no jobs anywhere; only layoffs and hiring… Continue

Mind over Matter

I have recently discovered a group of Japanese men who dedicate their lives to overcoming male-pattern baldness. They claim to do this by focussing all their concentration on the hair folicles. This procedure can take up to 20 YEARS or more, but if they are dedicated it works.

Recently my "terminal" brain tumor has shrunk, something it's not supposed to be capable of. After the diagnosis I was destroyed; I fell into a deep hole that I couldn't climb out of (at least at the time). Soon after, th… Continue

Other than the paw print on my shoulder blade, yeah, they were all done in Scotland - I'll be back across the pond in a few months for good though so I'm looking forward to seeking out a great artist for my next piece!

Hey, I'm really glad to hear back from you! I will safely assume that you're getting stronger and healthier by the day, and that my hightened concerns are entirely needless. Perhaps I could buy you a recovery drink in the near future, once you're off your meds? I've always been a sucker for patients with gory details!! :) Much love..........

Hi Kip, it's Dove's friend Loren from the tattoo shop last fall. I've just come across your blog and I've sent you a note via your myspace page since I didn't initially have an account here. I'm really tripped out about your recent events and I hope that you're getting better. I included my contact details in the other note, so if you're able to, drop me a line and say hi.
