So, I was sitting in one of the many parks in Manhattan the other day, and this kid, who couldnt be a day older than 11, was doing cartwheels with his father and brother, and totally had at least 8 tattoos - the photo is shitty, but you can see the ones on his tummy and sides.
So I did it - I got some more work done. I decided to go with blue for the final lotus. My original artist always suggested this, so this one in Bobs Lotus, and by far, the most painful...but my god, how I missed the buzzing of the needle..
I posted some photos. Healing nicely as usual - next, my Koi - cant wait!!
Read one of your forum posts, and clicked on the pic (as I often do). Have to tell you how much I LOVE your backpiece. I'm curious, you mentioned your original artist, so I'm assuming that you switched artists during this process. I'm also inspired by your willingness to travel to get work. There is an artist in Seattle I've wanted work from forever, but never willing to make the multiple trips. I might reconsider.
It was in the Illinois State Journal Register....
sj-r .com is the website...Everyone that seen pic was totally impressed . I have come to appreciate those who take on a large back piece.... it is not for weak of heart ....
Your work is awesome !!! You were featured in our local newspaper in a piece about inkedinc. It was very interesting and led me to the website. Just wanted to comment on your backpiece...
