Badass! I will start my own backpiece next month with Horimatsu (www.horimatsu.com) Im thinking that I will apply the ointment with a spatula that is wrapped in cellophane. Just change the cellophane everytime=longer clean arm ;)
Nick is one of my favorite artists even if I might not want to get tattooed by him. He's smart, talented and pure in many ways. The future. Clad that you are happy :)

- Right now any thing "sounds intellectual". So no joy in the museum world - perhaps you should start your own! Ever visited the John Soane Museum in London? It's just a house full of "stuff" (though very fancy stuff); start collecting for the Pyrrhus Darwin Costello Museum. ;)

Black is the new Black said… - Not sayings/prose/poetry but just purely words?
In the three years I got my work done I started to get to know some of the other regulars who would come into the parlor. One of my favorite characters was this huge black guy who would come in every other week or so to get a word or a sentence tattooed on in old english lettering. He was very dark skinned so you could not tell at first but if you took a second look you'd notice he was absolutely covered in words, overlapping, criss crossing, all over. It was quite amazing.

I've been toying for a long time with completing the body suit with a koi/dragon mix on one sleeve and a full dragon in clouds drifting in and out on the other sleeve and my right and left front/sides. However it seems odd to have such a giant fish then such a little dragon (even covering 2/3rds of my body a dragon would seem small compared to my koi).
