Speaking of Adam and Eve, I have another piece that I have been planning that is an egalitarian rendering of the creation of male and female (a male and female torso emerging from clay being molded by one masculine hand and one feminine hand). I had talked to one artist about it, but he has had a tough time rendering it. I want to put it on my left thigh to mirror the piece on my right (one side creation, the other new creation). It will probably be a while.
I wondered if you planned to have the humans on your backpiece. I assume by their absence you mean a reversion back to nature?
oh yes, the same goes for us :) I push the evelope on bringing the kids to as many different places as I can and im sure ticking people off but I like to expose the kids to different people and experiences. Plus I hate Chuckie Cheese so instead the girls attend tattoo conventions-
hey Sarah. I love Stephanie's work on you. She's great.
I am surprised that a pre-schooler is tougher to manage than an entertainment law firm -- in my experience, lawyers can act like two-year olds (myself included). ;)
Thanks! It's my first one, and I'm thrilled with it. I've only had it 4 days, but I'm already looking at the rest of space on my (inner) calf, thinking how blank it is. I like the inspiration behind your bird.
Hermit thrush on a leafy branch on my inner left forearm + a cluster of gardenias on my upper right arm (both by Stephanie Tamez at Brooklyn Adorned). Backpiece - snake wrapped around the tree of knowledge - in progress!
Got to be careful (at least in the US). Many Fortune 500 employers have added both a strip search and a cavity search to the last segment of the hiring process. A tattoo could spell the end to your future career.
