we all gotta make sacrifices sometime...

Well...I've been looking forward to January for months now....to finish my leg....looks like i'm gonna be waiting a wee bit longer.

Turns out thanks to our country's financial situation, its becoming even harder for people like me (a 25 year old with very good credit, but already has student loans, and 1 year remaining on her car loan) to get a private student loan. let the craziness ensue...

so...i MUST be out of my mind. I'm voluntarily (as in not required, but i WANT TO) taking 19 fucking credits next semester. i swear im losing it. and when i look at my schedule, it doesn't seem so bad! now.
im super f'n psyched though. i got into a research project with one of my professors on bacterial gene expression (I won't bore you all with the science gibber-jabber), and I'm graduating this spring! I will be the first and only member of my father's family to have their undergraduate degree… Continue

Your prayers are more than welcome...

So, tonight is the night. I'm pressing confirm, spending roughly 400$, and submitting my Grad school applications to 10 schools across the country. 4 in Cali (I hope I hope, I hope), 4 in NYC,1 in Boston, and 1 in Florida. It's a little bit nerve racking. I know I have the grades, I know I have the experience, and I know I'll get in somewhere, if not most of them. But wow.
