Have loved tattoos since I was a kid, but did not give myself permission to get one until my early 30s. Looking forward to greatly extending. Right now I'm looking for an artist to take the spiritual importance to me of the Hindi and Buddhist philosophies and take my existing piece and grow it into a full backpiece and then some. Like others, my tattoo and future tattoos are extremely personal. I guess essentially I'm looking to wear my beliefs and my outlook on life on my sleeves, so to speak. I have been practicing yoga for over 16 years, and strongly believe in contributing back to society. I'm a big supporter of finding permanent loving homes for stray animals, especially dogs.
Started in the public relations/ad agency business. Moved to corporate marketing and now have settled in nonprofit healthcare, focused on obtaining corporate sponsors for our organization. I love what I do!!!! And very glad to read about this book in a recent tattoo magazine and found this site to discuss with other professionals.
Me and my gal, Millie - sans her wheelchair. Now she's a little older, she actually prefers to walk with the support of her chiar.
Hi Scott, no apologies needed. I dont visit this site that much anymore. Glad everything is ok and all is well with you. I just got tix for Pet Shop Boys in NYC for Sept. excited to see them. Hope your having a great summer.
No problem about the delay; I've only just checked into Inked after what seems like months! Baby & dog are somewhat monopolising my time these days...but I did manage to somehow find time to get in touch with artist & get ball rolling with planned back piece. And you've gone all classical on me!
Hey scott, long time no write. My brother found this during our recent 80's video wars. I thought of you. This one not so popular. I love this song!!!!
Hope all is well with you.

i searched hi and low for the right artist to do my sleeve. the woman who's done my other work is amazing, but i just felt that i needed someone who got it. when i met with my artist i showed him my source/inspiration images - he sat for a good long time (bout 5-10 minutes) in silence just looking at the source stuff. then without looking up, he said "i would be really honored if you would allow me to do this work on you" - BINGO. it was perfect. so much goes into a tat, and i think the artist puts part of themselves in your skin - i really needed it to be honored and special.
I would say it's not near as bad as getting shot or stabbed though I don't know for sure. I guess if you expect the worst you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Forgot you guys were metric. My 1st baby was 3770 grams, my second just slightly smaller. I ha…
Yeah the scene-y toile reminds me a bit of my nonna's bedspread or something haha
Will definitely chat with my artist about some shadows and see what she can come up with :)
The pain isn't something I'm relishing, but it'll just be three hours out…
