3/4 sleeve and starting on my leg, just finsihed the back of my calf. The sleeve is kinda biomech/giger inspired. The back of the calf has a large indian inspired paisley. Also a whole bunch of bugs and 4 house flys on my back

Getting tattooed in about 2 hours!!

So where do I began? I haven't been on the site in a while. Mainly because reading everyone posts about getting tattooed was making me itch to get another one and I made a stupid rule that I will only get work done on Friday the 13th. Yes I know today in Saturday the 14th but I had a family emergency and had to reschedule. My last tattoo was done almost a 11months ago, July 13th, 2007. I am gonna be savoring this for a while, cause after this the next friday 13th is in February 2009.

LOL that's too funny! We are pretty ferret proofed in our house - we have little ferret fences to keep them coralled in a safe place - for them and us! Luckily mine don't mess with electronics much (no chewing on cords, etc.) they do enjoy hiding their toys though. We also currently have a feud between 2 ferrets over a tiny pink stuffed bunny. One hides it, the other goes and steals it. Hours of entertainment LOL

I do too, get bored with my job. I think I last an average of 3 years at a job, but have a keeper unless or until I find a way to become fully self employed. My current boss is the best in the entire world, we go perfectly together!

Oh, there's NO WAY I could work as a waitress or bar tender!! But at least you can say you tried right?

As for no promotions, I'd say you DO have great job security if you're the only one doing what you do!!

Thanks for the reminder. I actually have been keeping up with the Ink Allergy thread, in fact, I almost posted there when the outlining for my sleeve was done. The red ink itched and scaled much worse than the black, but I was sure it was just a sensitivity and not a real allergy. It took a little longer to subside, but it's OK now. I expect the same extended healing period from the red fill and am sorta prepared for it, but since it's so much more ink going into the skin, I'll be paying very close attention!

i would be such a happy teacher, ready to be there for anything and i know the kids would have fun with me....so im for SURE gonna do it!!! i actually called the college today...so im taking my first steps and i appreciate your words of encouragement, people dont realize that words like that...even if from a strange, can mean the world!!

hello...i just read your forum post, your "WTF" moment! i havent had any moments like that yet, but i get upset with my job in these ways to...i work at a hospital and am genuienly nice, concerned, and respectful to ALL of my patients....i like to think that i go out of my way for all of them, but im the one that has to drip sweat in my long sleeves everyday, while most of the other girls are only there to get there job done and get home, absolutely caring less about any of the patients and dont have to worry a lick about if their tattoos are peeking out of the shirt colar or who will look down on them for that reason!!! i hope one day that people will wise up!!!

Thnks guys and I apologize if it was a stupid question. Many people have told me that people wont hire me if I have any tattoos regardless of whether or not they're visible, so i had to ask the people that already have them.
