Love them all: Corset inked down my back, Music curving down over my ribs and tummy, heart and cherries w/a "PinUp" banner further south. All ink by Tara "Spider" Gray-Wolfstar.

I love body art as an expression of an individual's life experiences and perspective. I waited so long to get my first tattoo and quickly expanded the canvas. I'm continually designing what will come next. I'm conservative at work by necessity, but much more liberal and free in the rest of my life. Love the Inked Inc book!

It's a line from my Mom's favorite song "I'll be seeing you." The lyrics from the line are "I'll be looking at the moon, but I'll be seeing you." That's why it starts from a crescent moon up top and has the stars. The crescent moon is symbolic in tattoos of transformation and rebirth, as well as feminine power, which is also pretty cool for me.

Yeah the scene-y toile reminds me a bit of my nonna's bedspread or something haha Will definitely chat with my artist about some shadows and see what she can come up with :) The pain isn't something I'm relishing, but it'll just be three hours out…
