thinking of a sleeve

Just finished my half-sleeve (finally!) and I'm tempted to carry it all the way down. My current job is tattoo friendly, but of course I wonder about future jobs. But this site has helped me realize that I should just get it if I want it. I could always cover it up.

And I'm trying to think of a tattoo to honor my son. He is almost 6 months old (wow - seems like yesterday I was driving 25 mph on the highway coming home from the hospital!) Haven't thought of anything yet... but I'll get it when I do! Most likely be after the summer so I can enjoy the lake.

I'm renting a boat over the 4th of July to take him out. He went swimming for the first time this weekend! But my wife is next for tattoos. We alternate getting inked, and her turn is up. She's going to get lovebirds on her shoulders to fit in with her backpiece.

And after I finish my sleeve, switching to the other arm. I'll get a half-sleeve that's a pinup theme. I've always loved the pinup look, and my artist is very excited to get started.

I'm glad this site exists - I'll be coming here daily from now on.

We are switching back and forth as well. She is debating just a half-sleeve. She would have to cover up for work though, and it gets pretty hot here -- she wears some sleeveless stuff to work.

That's a good system you and your wife have...I think my husband and I might have to institute that. I'm also planning on getting love birds on my back/shoulders to finish up my backpiece too! :)

I think I'll be living vicariously through you and the others who've gone long-sleeved! I just can't quite do it with the heat and my tattoo-unfriendly biz.
