New Tattoo idea?

My son is about to turn 6 months old. I've been trying to think of a tattoo for him. Since he was born in January, my wife and I were thinking about getting Capricorn tattoos. We would have our artists use similar designs and they could add their own style to it. We have good artists (atomic tattoo in Austin) and they have different styles. We would put them in different spots too.

Do you think the Zodiac tattoos are a little too cliché? The design has a lot of possibilities, and it would certainly match my style.

If you've seen any cool Capricorn designs, please share. I've been searching the web and looking at as many designs as possible. Of course, I'd adapt any design to match my style.

Do any of you have tattoos for your little ones?

I like your concept - cool idea. I'm sure I'll add some ink for my boy as he grows up. I'd like to start now before he gets too big!

Which Atomic tattoo are you going to? I went to the one on Burnet for my piercings, they're great! I saw the new one open up on 35 by the theater but I haven't been in.

If the tattoo will fit with your style and you're into astrology then go for it! I wanted to represent my daughters in my tattoo as well. I put two cocoons on my hip to represent them right at this time, my (then) 14 yr old just coming out into womanhood, my (then) 10 yr old still fully encased in childhood.
