Sorry for late reply..
Yess Dutch is ok.

How are you doin?
I just returned from my trip to L.A.
I was tattoed by Brian Ragusin @ Outerlimits
A good artist but bad in communication / appointements..
Now it's still unfinished and i think i can best wait for let him compleet it.

Echt kut!

xx Peace , ella

Love your chest panel and sleeve, I think the black, red, and gold gives it a very commanding presence.

Hi M,
It's a line from my Mom's favorite song "I'll be seeing you." The lyrics from the line are "I'll be looking at the moon, but I'll be seeing you." That's why it starts from a crescent moon up top and has the stars. The crescent moon is symbolic in tattoos of transformation and rebirth, as well as feminine power, which is also pretty cool for me.

Happy New Year! I hope one of those parties were fun. NYE in Korea was CRAZY...bartenders shooting sparks at us, juggling flaming bottles, I drank a flaming shot while i stood on the bar, and just danced and drank all night...a great time with my sis, her fiance and our fav bartenders. Let me tell you that Koreans are friendly out at the bars...we made friends everywhere we went...very memorable trips to Korea and NYE.

I am going to be working at my current firm, but I'm deciding on whether to go back to school to get my engineering degree so that I can sit for the Patent Bar Exam and practice patent law OR take another bar exam in New York , Illinois or California. Either one will be hard, but I really want to get into patent law or get out of Michigan...or both! Where does your body live that you might go visit? What country would do you your internship in?

Thanks for the compliment...I've lost a little weight since the summer, but still have about 20 lbs to reach my goal.

Hey! Long time! I haven't been on here since the beginning of fall. How are you doing? I passed my bar examination, so now I am a real lawyer! I'm in Korea again...visiting my sister for the holidays...going home on Sunday. Anything fun planned for NYE? Any new tattoos? I haven't gotten my rig cage piece yet...waiting until spring...but once I get my Bar License P number I'm getting tattooed somewhere discreet.

It is weird about my neighbor.

I had a similarly weird experience in Amsterdam too with a guy I knew the whole time I lived there. About a month before I left I found out that not only was he from my home town in America, he actually graduated from my highschool the year before I started there (so he was 18 there the year before I started there at 13).

I never actually went to the Hague (except for train rides through).

I looked it up on Google for the full name - the right name for the place I was trying to say is De Hoge Veluwe. I was a huge fan of the Kroeller-Moeller museum and scupture garden there and went often.

Regrettably even though I lived in Amsterdam for a full year I only ever visited Rotterdam and Arnhem (plus Den Hoge) while I was there (I'm sure I just misspelled all of those).

I've a friend here in New Mexico who is from Rotterdam, as well as a neighbor from my same old 'hood in Amsterdam. She ironically lived the same distance from me (three blocks) back in '95 as she does now.

Where do you live in the Netherlands?

I lived in De Pijpe neighborhood of Amsterdam for a year in '95.

Hey hey - Yeah, I'm back at work...ever since I got home from Korea I've been super busy! Trying to get back into shape, working a lot, and my bro came home from Ethiopia with his son so I've been over his house almost every day this week. I've also made time to do some heavy partying...I really need to stop this. I think I'm pretty happy with my current job, and NYC is something I can think about for the future. I'm going to NYC for Halloween weekend, though...can't wait!

How are you doing?

wise choice. i would never talk anyone into getting their feet done. it was just so bad. thank god im sticking w/ grey scale, and i dont have to color it in, hahaha.
yeah once i finish my leg thats gonna be it for me for a while though. my sleeve (or sleeves...not sure if i'll do both yet) is gonna have to wait until grad school is done. maybe i'll add a little to my ribs before then. other than that im unsure of what to do across my shoulders (dont want my whole back done though), and my chest piece im waiting till after i get married cuz i want it to be a piece for whoever it is that i marry...so yeah...lots planned, but i've got plenty of time :)

Hey - So, I am going to get the following on the right side of my ribs, side and back: it'll look like someone tore a hole in my side, but not grusome and bloddy...have to talk to my artist about some ideas...and then there will be black and white cheetah spots and a vine of red and bright blue roses strewn across... I know it sounds weird, but I think my artist will be able to tackle my vision. The tattoo represents that underneath my boring, lawyer skin there is my wild and sweet side. I think I'll beed a couple visits, and it is going to be painful! I'm scared, but can't wait at the same time.

The whole mergers and acquisitions stuff appeals to me, in a legal aspect. I am interested in secured transactions, and I believe that relates to the area of business law and mergers/acqusitions.

My brother is going to Ethiopia next week to get his son...he adopted from there. I know it's in a totally different area of Africa than South Africa, but have u ever been to Ethiopia? My bro said they will have armored guards the whole time they are there...scary! I believe that World Cup 2010 is going to be in South Africa, and my sis, her fiance, me and his buddies want to plan to go. Why didn't like it in South Africa? What part of your life did u spend there?
