absolutely! people who pick things off walls or off of online catelogs are only getting tattoos to get a tattoo... well, even some people who come up with ideas are only getting it to get one, but still, at least they're creative, and they've come up with something that has some depth and meaning to them. i always wonder what people who get tattoos for no reason tell people when they're asked about them. "uhm, i saw it on the tattoo shop wall, it looked nice... i got it?"
i know right? some people don't have enough creativity to come up with a tattoo of their own. though that usually means waiting until you can think of one instead of running off and getting someone else's. there should be legal action for this sort of thing. xD
I would say it's not near as bad as getting shot or stabbed though I don't know for sure. I guess if you expect the worst you'll be pleasantly surprised.
